Shalimar Philtre de Parfum by Guerlain is a new oriental fragrance for women. The latest “perfume potion” version of the original 1925 Shalimar was crafted by Guerlain’s in-house perfumer Thierry Wasser with top notes of citrusy bergamot, lemon, and aromatic lavender blending into a floral heart of jasmine, rose, and powdery iris, before a dry down finish of intoxication vanilla, tolu balsam, and patchouli. The iconic Guerlain Shalimar perfume bottle, housing a pale yellow juice, is adorned with a black ribbon, classic blue cap, and gold accents. Launched in 2020, this Shalimar “love potion” is available in an eau de parfum spray.
