A saree that earns its place in a wardrobe rather than sitting at the back of it. It is made up in georgette, which gives it both drape and a bit of body.

It moves between everyday wear and occasions without needing much thought. Indian sizing does not map onto US sizing consistently – go by the measurements, not the letter.

Follow the care label first. As a general rule, silk, zari and heavy embroidery should be dry-cleaned; cotton and rayon can usually be hand-washed cold and dried in shade.
