An easy-to-wear men’s kurta for the occasions that come round every year. It is made up in cotton, which gives it both drape and a bit of body.

It suits Diwali, Navratri and the family gatherings in between, where you want to look dressed without overdoing it. Indian sizing does not map onto US sizing consistently – go by the measurements, not the letter.

Care is the usual: dry-clean anything with zari or dense embroidery, hand-wash cottons and rayons in cold water, and dry in shade rather than direct sun.
