It is cut for weddings and the events around them, where you are on your feet for hours and want to stay comfortable. Indian sizing does not map onto US sizing consistently – go by the measurements, not the letter.

Follow the care label first. As a general rule, silk, zari and heavy embroidery should be dry-cleaned; cotton and rayon can usually be hand-washed cold and dried in shade.
