It is cut for weddings and the events around them, where you are on your feet for hours and want to stay comfortable. Hand-finished detail differs a little from piece to piece; that is the nature of the work rather than a defect.

Follow the care label first. As a general rule, silk, zari and heavy embroidery should be dry-cleaned; cotton and rayon can usually be hand-washed cold and dried in shade.
